Based on the PITC (Program for Infant Toddler Care) Policies and Guidelines, our environment focuses on supporting healthy development, safety, and well-being for infants and toddlers.
Our spaces are child-sized, flexible, promote movement, and offer choices, while also prioritizing health, safety, comfort, and convenience.
The PITC Space Policy focuses on creating a safe, healthy, comfortable, and convenient environment for infants and toddlers by ensuring cleanliness, proper air exchange, and appropriate lighting and acoustics, while also emphasizing child-sized furniture, flexibility for changing needs, opportunities for movement and exploration, and fostering autonomy through choices in activities and surroundings.
Our program strives to create an environment that is comfortable and calming for infants and toddlers, helping them feel relaxed and secure. We make sure the space is designed with their developmental needs in mind, using child-sized furniture and appropriate equipment. We value flexibility, where the environment can adapt to different activities and the evolving needs of the children. Most importantly, children are enouraged to make choices, supporting their independence and growth.
Our soft play area is a safe, engaging space designed specifically for infants to explore, move, and develop at their own pace. With cushioned surfaces, age-appropriate equipment, and vibrant colors, it encourages sensory exploration, gross motor development, and social interaction in a secure environment. It’s a place where babies can crawl, roll, and discover the world around them with confidence and joy.
Small group activities in our daycare provide a wonderful opportunity for children to build social skills, form friendships, and engage in meaningful learning experiences. These activities encourage cooperation, communication, and problem-solving in a nurturing environment. With more individual attention from caregivers, each child can feel seen, supported, and confident as they explore new ideas and work together with their peers.
